Our work with the artists Davis & Jones in creating Paper City was one way of giving tangible form to those ideas and visions. Davis & Jones make artworks through occasions, dialogues and relationships; working with people and places to explore how we connect. Over the three days in the run up to the event, they worked with project participants, to explore the spaces in the city where women and men felt that they had a voice, as well as those where they did not, to recreate a vision of city spaces where people felt they could connect. Visitors to our event could view and interact with the Paper City at Junction 3 Library, and images and reflections of the installation will be made available online.
