Productive Margins Festival – Thursday 14th September – SAVE THE DATE

You are warmly invited to take part in the Productive Margins Festival!

When? 14 September 2017, 8am-8pm

Where? The Station, Silver St, Bristol BS1 2AG

Productive Margins has been working on some of the big questions that we face collectively: mapping, making and mobilising with young people; Muslim engagement in decision-making; isolation and loneliness among older people; regulation and food habits across diverse communities; and low-income families’ urban experiences of poverty and immigration regulation. We do this through a range of disciplines and approaches from the social sciences through the arts, engaging with policy makers and social enterprise throughout the lifecycles of our projects.

Join us for a full day of events at The Station on Thursday, 14 September! The day will showcase, question, celebrate, inspire and challenge us to think differently about how regulation can both constrain and enable communities. There will be films, performances, information stalls, debates and discussion panels. We’ll share what we’ve done so far, discuss some of the challenging questions that remain, and explore future opportunities and how we might make these a reality.

We’ll advertise a detailed schedule nearer the time, but feel free to drop in throughout the day and join us from 6-8pm for snacks and drinks and work from community members, artists and academics on the final Productive Margins project.
